Blog tour: Stitch Up

Over the past two weeks we've been celebrating the publication of the new Best Defence novel. We had great fun at the launch last Friday, and are looking forward to meeting fans at William McIntyre's signing at Far from the Madding Crowd in Linlithgow tomorrow.

If you follow us on Twitter, you'll know the Stitch Up blog tour has also been running over the past week. With great reviews, a fascinating guest post by the author, and an extract sure to make you chuckle, it's been a great few weeks!

First up on the Stitch Up online tour, we stopped by Drew's Tattooed Book Geek blog for a guest post on writing crime with experience as a criminal defence lawyer. Next we headed over to Sandra's Beauty Balm blog for our first review, and it's a good'un!

If you fancy reading the first chapter of the book (warning: it may get you hooked, and you may have to dash out and buy a copy of the book) we posted it right here on our website for our stop on the tour. The second review of Stitch Up featured on the Cramlington Book Club blog - it was another great review, and just so happened to be their first ever blog tour.

Much as we love finding new fans, there's something really special about hearing from bloggers who already love an author's work - Grab this Book has been reading McIntyre's books for a while now, and we always love to hear what he thinks: 'The Best Defence books are a fabulous series and are fast becoming one of my favourites.' We finished up by visiting A Little Book Problem (A blog name the entire Sandstone team can relate to!) who highly recommends adding Stitch Up to your TBR pile.

If Stitch Up sounds like your kind of thing, it's available from all good bookshops, and is only £7.69 on Hive at the moment. The rest of the series is on sale with MyBookSource until the end of August using the code MCINTYRE342 at the checkout.
