Remzije now runs Maryhill Integration Network where three staff and 60 volunteers operate a programme of weekly activities in health, learning and art and dance. Remzije also volunteers with Migrant Voice, a free newspaper written by migrants to the UK.Remzije was named Woman of the Year at the Migrant and Refugee Women’s Awards 2013. Remzije Sherifi is a co-founder of AlbScott - the Albanian Scottish Association.
