Sandstone Press Managing Director Robert Davidson has acquired There’s Always the Hills by Cameron McNeish

Sandstone Press has acquired Cameron McNeish’s memoir, in which he candidly recalls the ups and downs of a full life, much of it in the public eye, much of it until now unseen. In addition to being one of the country’s best known outdoor television presenters, and an author with many books published, Cameron was editor of The Great Outdoors (TGO) magazine for twenty years in which it rose to be Britain’s premier walking magazine. He is a dedicated family man and a passionate advocate of Scottish independence. Cameron is currently president of the Backpackers Club, vice president of Ramblers Scotland, and makes regular appearances on The Adventure Show.
